OUR ONLINE COURSE
Is specifically designed to certify and train students who are relocating to Texas as well as those who currently reside in the State and should be 16 years of age. We are certified through the Texas Department of State Health Services to train and certify you as a CHW.
MAKING THE DECISION
As a frontline agent of change you will help to reduce health disparities in underserved communities. CHW are employed by hospitals, doctor offices, community health organizations (wic, planned parenthood, etc..) to provide health education, Medicaid enrollment and preventive care services in the field. CHW’s earn an hourly pay of $16- 33 per hour.
Due to COVID-19 there is an acute global shortage of healthcare workers and CHW is in high demand. Our program is open to any Healthcare staff member who wants to take it, including supervisors, nurses and social workers, trainers, and managers.
